Emma’s place was amazing. Located in an amazing location right on the promenade, beautifully furnished and decorated and clean to a 5 star hotel level. Highly recommend!

One of the best bnb I stayed so far. Beautiful surroundings. Great view. Neat and clean. Walkable distance to the local stores and pubs. Chirs is so friendly and responsive. 💯 recommended to all who wish to have some good time with wonderful views.

The place was perfect - great central location in Ambleside, the place itself was spotless and had everything we needed. Lovely view over Ambleside and we used it as a base to hike for a few days. Would definitely be back! Host was responsive and helpful. Thanks again Dave.

Don’t book!!! You’ll end up not wanting to leave once you arrive, it’s got everything you need. Heated flooring, modern lighting soft touch fridge/freezer and draws, modern lighting, walk-in shower and a walk-in wardrobe. Even the bin has automatic features opening and closing by itself. Great hosts! they do really care about their guests. Greeted with a folder for all the previous guests to write in and share a message, they left a leaflet with tons of places to go.

This place is amazing with beautiful surroundings and access to the lake. The interior was clean, fresh and stylish! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils. The hosts also provided us with locally sourced goods which were very tasty. A great place!! I can’t wait to be back and I can’t stop raving about it!!!!! Also, lovely neighbours living onsite! 20 mins drive out from Windermere station/ 40 mins out from Grasmere!!!

The apartment was perfect, everything as listed, a fully functional apartment, very quiet and peaceful, we had a brilliant weeks stay.

We enjoyed the hospitality. Everything we needed was provided and even more. Fruits and a basic set of products for breakfast. Surprisingly, even shower gel and shampoos were provided. The house was warm and quiet.

The coach house was perfect for our one night stay and greatly appreciated Ruby's communication and hospitality. She had her place all setup for us too. Thank you.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Catherine's beautiful home in the Lake District! Our group fell in love with the place, and Catherine was an exceptional host. From the moment we booked, Catherine was incredibly helpful and accommodating. The listing has super helpful instructions to find the place, which was especially useful since we arrived in the dark. Her flexibility with check-in and check-out times was also greatly appreciated. The location is stunning, with breathtaking scenery right on your doorstep. The house was immaculately clean when we checked in, and the kitchen was incredibly well-equipped. We loved exploring the area and returning to the comfort of our home away from home. We loved relaxing in the hot tub, listening to the soothing sounds of Stock Ghyll, perfect way to unwind after a hike. We can't thank Catherine enough for her hospitality. We highly recommend this property for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway in the Lake District. Can't wait to return!

Me and my partner loved staying at Paula’s place, a cosy, clean house which is a good base for exploring the stunning natural surroundings nearby. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area 😊

Gills home in Cleverleys was absolutely gorgeous, The views were incredible and was in lovely location. The locals were all very polite and was really near high street shops which was a pleasant surprise. House was spotless and had all we needed, from large fridge and freezer, to throws on the beds, and lots more!! We had an amazing time!! Thank you!!

I would agree with previous comments. The property is gorgeous and in pristine condition with waterside access where we could launch our kayak and paddle boards. These as well as bicycles are also available to hire close by. All amenities are within walking distance and the nearby ferry provides access to the western shore of Lake Windermere. There is a lovely out and back path along the edge of the lake ideal for runners as well as several circular walks. All in all a we had a fantastic active family holiday but you can equally spend time on the balcony watching the world go by. Helen’s welcome pack is exceptional providing you with essentials to start your holiday. The fresh flowers were a lovely touch. I would love to come back one day. Thanks.

The place was beautiful and very welcoming . It felt like home almost immediately. It's located in a very private setting and we loved the river at the back of the property. We had a few teething issues to begin with as we had a wasps nest outside and the occasional power outage when the switch tripped on the fuse box but the host, Cheryl, was very quick to respond and helped resolve things straight away. She even offered to give us an extra day for free but because we had work the next day the option of a late checkout instead was very welcome. I would highly recommend this place and Cheryl was absolutely fantastic! Thank you Cheryl!

Claughton Hall sits in a beautiful location; isolated and peaceful but easy enough to get out to surrounding areas. Accommodation was simply superb; well furnished with plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living/dining room with log burner and especially very, very comfortable beds! Despite the bad weather we had it was a most enjoyable stay. Sam is a great host and always on hand if needed. I would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely go back. Anne

Andrew’s flat was exactly what we needed for a 2-night stay to attend a wedding nearby at Town Head Estate. Check-in was really easy via the key safe and there was ample parking for 2 cars. The flat was clean, well-equipped for 4 adults and also had a useful booklet of recommendations for things to do & useful contacts in the local area. We unfortunately had an issue with the hot water & heating going off during our stay but Andrew was responsive & communicative and got the issue resolved in less than 2hrs. Overall we would recommend this accommodation and would happily stay again if visiting the area in the future.

Great location for us visiting family. Would be good for walkers /bird watchers etc as good coastal access . Lovely view from main living area.

Lovely luxury modern facilities and everything we needed for cooking treats away from home. A really comfy stay for all of us including our two doggies. Great for them to able to go for a walk right from the doorstep. Quiet and peaceful. Lovely views from a cosy apartment. Great to be both within a stones throw of Kendal for some lovely doggie friendly cafes and one of the best butcher shops around as well as being in the quietness of the countryside.

Luxury apartment with a view to match, overlooking Ambleside pier, the lake and mountains. Exquisite! Full use kitchen. Chaisse overlooking the lake is the perfect spot! Comfortable seating in front of large screen TV. Can't wait to come back!

The flat is described in the listing as basic, I think, but I wouldn't describe it as such. The flat feels new and smart, it is furnished and equipped to a comfortable standard and is decorated simply but tastefully with attractive macrame wall hangings and pictures and there are lovely plants. We also liked the design of the crockery :0) The things that make it 'basic' are not having a TV or WiFi, I suppose, but other than that, which the owner was very upfront about, we found it to be superior to other places that we've stayed at in the area which cost more. The views, onto adjacent buildings and roofs, aren't great and many places in Morecambe come with a sea view which is lovely, but the prom is just a minute's walk away to enjoy. There are pizza restaurants just seconds away and all the shops on the front and a bus stop less than a minute away, so the location is fantastic. It's a good place to stay and quite a bargain! Thoroughly recommend it.
