Alquileres para vacaciones en Cat Island

Lage des Hauses ist der Wahnsinn. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert. Einziges Manko von unserer Seite aus: Etwas mehr Spülmaschinentabs und ein paar Küchenutensilien, wie Backpapier, Alufolie, eine Auswahl an Gewürzen, .. wäre noch schön gewesen und das Waschbecken in der Toilette ist locker. Ich kann die Unterkunft aber ansonsten nur empfehlen. Privatstrand direkt vorm Haus, ein paar kleine Riffe zum Schnorcheln und eine ruhige Lage. Als kleiner Tipp unserer Seits: So viel Lebensmittel wie möglich kaufen, bevor man auf die Insel kommt. Einkaufen ist sehr teuer!

We absolutely loved this beautiful beach house and Fernandez Bay Beach. September is when most restaurants are closed, we were so thankful Jana had such a well stocked kitchen. We did enjoy conch salad at Duke’s twice and delicious dinners twice at Hidden Treasures at Regatta/Cultural Park. Water view out both bedrooms, dining area, living room and back porch was spectacular! Amazing sunrises off front porch over the coconut tree and sunsets from the back porch. Great snorkeling, kayaking and exploring by the rocks in all directions. Cat Island is friendly, natural, uncrowded. Alvernia’s Food Store was great for car rental and the freshest groceries/good selection during our 2 week stay. The Cat Island map made it easy to explore/adventure out each day, great pics! Always nice to be back at the beach house for a swim and outdoor shower! Nice hot indoor showers if rain approached. Definitely planning to return! Thankful to celebrate our 35th Wedding Anniversary at such a special place!

Amanda’s place provides Cat island catharsis. Among the most cherished of travel experiences. Cat Island is remote, and so a real chance to disconnect from the world and restore in Bahamian beauty.

My stay at Fountain Bay was amazing! I only stayed a day but it felt like a week due to the hospitality of my host, Wendy. The resort itself sits on a beautiful beach that that is pristine. I was also blown away by the cleanliness of the rooms. Everything exceeded my expectations. Fountain Bay is a must visit. See Wendy & Thera!

Sandcastle exceeded our expectations in every way. The location was absolutely perfect—just steps from the pristine beach with crystal-clear waters that made for incredible swimming and snorkeling. It felt like a secluded paradise, yet we loved having a restaurant within walking distance for a delicious meal. The home’s open design and large windows filled the space with natural light creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that instantly made us feel at home. It was thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed and more—from a fully equipped kitchen and laundry to comfortable furniture, quality linens, and cozy beds. We made full use of the snorkels, stand-up paddleboard, kayak, and floaties, encountering incredible marine life and discovering hidden beaches which felt like private treasures. Our exceptional hosts enriched our trip with local insights of places and history we’d never have discovered otherwise. Sandcastle was a perfect island retreat—we can’t wait to return!

Amazing stay! Tropical Paradise exceeded our expectations. We were looking for a place to relax and recharge from the hectic schedules of life over the holidays and this stay was exactly what we had in mind. The house is about an hour drive from the airport/large grocery store. The liquor store was closed. When we return we would probably plan our food better and hire someone to shop/cook for us. Over Christmas many places were closed. Once you arrive you truly are in paradise. The location of this home is absolute PERFECTION! Steps away from the most beautiful, private, clear water, tranquil beach! We loved walking the beach each day, snorkeling right in front of the house and kayaking. Sherri and Alan have thought of everything and the house is well appointed. We ate at Shana’s Cove a few times and found that experience lovely and the food great! The noseeums were the only negative! They are especially bad at sunset. We all got bites despite our efforts. We can’t wait to return🏝️❤

We spent two glorious weeks at Fix Ya Face and as we left today we realized…it did fix our faces! Months of stress left us, replaced by smiles and relaxation on our faces. The house, the view, and the location are ideal. It’s a short path to the beach and a short path to Shannas Cove restaurant if you enjoy incredible, unique, chef-designed meals in an intimate setting as we do! The house is very well appointed. We lacked nothing. We’ve explored many of the beaches around the island and you can’t beat the location of this home on Shannas Cove for swimming, safe snorkeling, and walking. There was always something to see! The view from the house is breathtaking. Kelly and Windy are wonderful hosts and we look forward to returning next year!

Jacqueline's property's location is quite possibly one of the best in the world. Steps from one of the most secluded, beautiful beaches we have ever been to; and we have visited many. Other reviews say glamping...I wouldn't say that. Staying at Jacqueline's is to experience being fully immersed in nature, while staying in a house. We loved every moment of it.
