Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

The most perfect location for a hen party! Chris was the most amazing host with all his information to ensure the stay was as perfect as it could have been! Chris was always on hand if anything was required and always ready to answer questions along with giving recommendations! Location was perfect in a very quiet neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to the train station to get straight into the centre of Glasgow in no time! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

What a place !! honestly the nicest lodge we have ever stayed in and they had really thought of everything !! Gorgeous scenery, stunning decor ! and a bath next to the bed ! there's also a tv you can turn to watch anywhere in the lodge ! never been in a place like it ! they also gave us a welcome pack with local recommendations of eating out and takeaways ! Honestly we will be regulars from now on !!! xx

Thank you for a lovely stay with so many kind extra touches. Really everything you could ask for and the spacious property is in such an excellent location. There is a restaurant right across the road and a super shop practically next door. We ate at The Clachan and the food was amazing. Loved seeing the donkeys on the Saturday trimming the village green! What a gorgeous place with such friendly locals! Loved the decor in the bedrooms especially and very comfortable beds. Very cosy ! Netflix etc and lots of games and books was an added bonus too when the weather wasn’t so great. The conservatory is super warm and welcoming so we ate breakfast there and our dogs just loved their stay too. Highly recommended and we will definitely book again if back in the area.

Everything as described, peaceful location. Definitely a place worth going to. Everything you need definitely a home away from home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, Douglas is an attentive host who was available when needed. The bungalow was equipped with everything we needed for cooking and resting which was much appreciated as our stay was over Christmas! Douglas very kindly gifted some wine and chocolates and he was there for our arrival to show us around the house, giving some useful information on nearby shops, places to eat and things to do. We were unfortunate with the weather; however, the bungalow was very cosy and thoughtfully decorated for Christmas and time spent inside looking out at the fabulous views made up for it!

We had the best time here. The cottage is beautiful and spacious and in a beautiful, peaceful area. Riley and Samantha truly thought of everything, and were very responsive and helpful. Super comfortable beds and stunning bathroom. The wood fired hot tub is amazing and was heated up for our arrival aswell as before we returned from a day out as Riley happened to be nearby. We will hopefully be back soon!

Can only concur with the numerous reviews. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hawthorn Cottage. A real home from home. Rosemary is a delight to deal with & is very prompt with any issues. Would have loved to see the garden in the Spring / Summer! Located perfectly just outside of Rothesay & set back off the main road which makes it very peaceful. Super comfy bed & a treat to have the option for a soak in a bath. Good WiFi & great to have a DAB radio in the kitchen. Bonus to be able to park right outside too! Highly recommended.

Thanks Kylie for a truly wonderful experience. Your place is immaculate, warm, spacious and inviting. Truly a home away from home. Great base to explore Luss (lovely meal and host at the Green Kettle Inn), Loch Lomond & Helensburgh (drop into Tweedies 'tartan' shop). We hope to revisit one day and stay longer. Our daughter turned 21 whilst we were there, which was all the more special. Thanks again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jane’s cottage. It was peaceful, easily accessible, had everything we needed (and more!) and had beautiful views. Jane was really kind and helpful. She was flexible with check in and check out times which was really appreciated, and left a lovely selection of toys for our toddler to play with. Would not hesitate to book again - in fact, we’re already planning a trip in Summer! Thank you again, Jane.

The cottage was very spacious with more than enough room for 4adults. The beds were extremely comfortable and the linen was clean and fresh. The location was excellent for the coast and for Glasgow so we were able to do a variety of activities. We would use the cottage again when we visit the area.

We had a wonderful stay. The place was even better than the photos, with much more space than we expected, both inside and outside. The location is stunning, and we (and our dog!) had wonderful walks to the loch through the RSPB reserve, and along the West Highland Way as well. We would absolutely recommend this space to all! James and Karen were excellent hosts too, very responsive to queries, left lots of information about the house and the local area, and had some great recommendations for us! Couldn't fault our experience!

This was our favorite Airbnb. We really enjoyed our stay and wished it was longer. The house had everything we needed in perfect working order. We even enjoyed evening fires in the fireplace. There were stores, restaurants, and pubs nearby and the neighborhood didn’t feel busy even though it is located in the city. We even met several neighbors, all of whom were very nice and welcoming. Caroline helped with a recommendation of where to buy whisky to bring home (Stevie’s Drams). I enjoyed the shop and Stevie’s son who was working that day. I highly recommend this Airbnb and would certainly return for more time.

We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. This was our third trip staying at Dodside which speaks volumes in itself. Colin is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of woid provided for the woodburner which made the accommodation very cosy. Would recommend but only if you drive as it's rural and a couple of miles from the nearest shops. Lovely and quiet though.

We had a wonderful experience at Cathy’s Jura house in Dunoon. From the very beginning, Cathy was extremely helpful and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The house is cozy and well-equipped, with stunning views that make every morning a true delight. Dunoon is a perfect place for families—peaceful and surrounded by natural beauty. We highly recommend Jura house and hope to return soon.
