We had a peaceful relaxing time at Herbs. Searenity is in a wonderful location, amazing ocean views with heaps of wildlife literally at your doorstep. Think kangaroos, superb fairy wrens and a cute Echidna who visits regularly ☺️ Herb has absolutely thought of everything you will need for an awesome break. We can highly recommend you book a stay. The best Airbnb we have stayed at.

Place is beautiful and matches photos! Furnishings are very well thought out and instantly give you a holiday vibe. We had a local koala in the next door neighbour’s tree and we saw an echidna cross the road not far from the property. The beach was fun to fish in the evening and the beach definitely looked like a good crabbing beach throughout the day. Great central location, being not far from Kingscote and not far from Penneshaw. There are no supplies available without a drive though so make sure you have supplies. Would highly recommend to others if you are looking for a relaxing getaway! Kevin is a great host to deal with also, thanks again for a lovely stay.

This has to be one of the nicest places I have ever stayed at. It was an absolute dream vacation place and we were just blown away by the comforts provided. The theme of the place was so fitting for a beach front house. There is a general store right underneath that is so convenient. It was right by the beach entrance. Krystal was the most amazing host and just so accommodating. She even gave us a late check out. Overall, we will definitely be back, hopefully soon.

Congratulations, if you are reading this review you have the chance to stay in one of the most special places on earth and you should not miss this opportunity. We are a family of 5 traveling the globe for a year and our last 5 nights at Stokes Bay Cliffs have been some of the most invigorating, inspiring, and delightful of our trip. Whether the view from the porch has you more enchanted by the wildlife or the sea, you will surely find yourself in the best frame of mind and grateful to be here, now. Kayak along the shore, hike the property, visit the local beaches, it doesn't matter how you spend your time, you will not be disappointed. I would add that if you are still deciding to come to KI or elsewhere, this place in and of itself should make the decision for you. Our cups are full and we are most grateful to the owners and hosts for this memorable stay.

Thank you so much for such a fabulous stay. The house is situated in the most fantastic position overlooking the sea. Rob and Tracy were fabulous hosts and the communication was excellent. We highly recommend this Airbnb as was clean tidy and in such a beautiful Location! We would definitely stay again!

We loved staying here with our two young children. The pool and spa are wonderful and the inside space is great. We loved playing the old school board games. We’d love to stay again next time we go to Carrickalinga.

Great house for a group of people. Bedrooms were a good size, big fenced yard to play in and a very equipped kitchen. Having to bring linen is a bit of a pain but otherwise a great house. Beautiful location, we saw kangaroos and echidnas from the balcony. We would book again.

We were blown away by the location, south shores resort is incredible and impeccable as is Narelle’s property. Absolute flawless property, styling was spot on, everything so clean and functional and Narelle was such an excellent host, prompt, thorough and super helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our kid free week end with friends. We will definitely be back next year.

We loved our stay at Banksia Dunes! truly felt like home. Set up with families in mind and we didn't feel like we needed to worry too much about our little ones being themselves. We appreciated how well stocked the kitchen was. The great array of cooking utensils and even spices was a welcome first for us! The hosts' check ins were appropriate and helpful. We appropriated that they were prompt to respond to our enquiries. In all we had a great short break and a true home away from home experience. We are already thinking about our next stay at Banksia Dunes.

We had a lovely few days at Villa 66! The accomodation was clean, spacious, had all the facilities we required, and more! The host was friendly and responsive. The kids are looking forward to returning soon.

This house was such a lovely part of our holiday. We had a baby with us so spent quite a lot of time at the house and it was well equipped with everything we needed. The spa and pool table provided constant entertainment and the kitchen equipment was well stocked with everything we needed to make meals from home. Marnie was lovely to communicate with and was very accommodating for us and the baby. The beach was a close walk and was absolutely pristine! We would definitely come back here for a holiday!

House was very clean and recently renovated. Premium appliances in the kitchen. Had a brief issue with the internet - reported it to Sarah who sorted it out right away. Pool was clean and in excellent condition. Plenty of space in the backyard to play with our dog. Beautiful plants inside and outside creating a created a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back!

The Clearwater Haven was everything described and just perfect for our young family. All facilities needed were supplied and a great BBQ. Surrounded by wildlife and a 1min walk to the beautiful Nepean Bay private beach was very convenient. The waters were very calm and ideal for the kids! Thank you for a wonderful stay, highly recommended!

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

We loved our stay at Liam’s place! The location was perfect, just a short walk to a stunning and family-friendly beach. The house was great for our young family, with a large well equipped kitchen and a lovely outdoor deck. We enjoyed the beautiful natural surroundings and daily visits from wallabies, which the kids loved. Liam was very responsive, friendly and helpful with recommendations. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We highly recommend the „Cheeky Wren“ and are already planning our next visit to Kangaroo Island.

Very welcoming and nice place to stay! I would recommend for a nice getaway as it’s not far from the city! Host is very polite and helpful with anything required! Would stay again!

Our family of six adults and two children had a wonderful week in Copperstone in early December 2024. The house is modern, clean and comfortable and has air conditioning, which is needed, especially in the warmer months. The kitchen is well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. We were privileged to experience Kangaroos in the front garden and Koalas in the back garden. As there are no places to purchase provisions in Emu Bay, we would have appreciated a welcome package/gift to include the basic necessities including bread, cereal etc. The nearest supermarket is Drakes in Kingscote, where you can purchase general groceries, meat, poultry, fruit and vegetables. There is a well-stocked bottle-shop in the next street. These facilities are approximately 15 minutes by car (4 wheel recommended) from the house. I recommend this property which overlooks beautiful Emu Bay and is well located. We left feeling that we all had a unique experience and were rejuvenated.

We loved Surf Shack! We found it was even better than the photos - very thoughtfully designed. Well stocked with books and games. Cosy TV nook upstairs. Our children loved the cute bunk rooms. The house was very clean and fresh. Loved seeing the wildlife, the deck area is beautiful inculding swing chair and hot outdoor shower. The house is off grid but well designed- we didnt need to use heating or cooling during our stay. Stokes Bay Beach is remote and beautiful, and the kiosk had great fish & chips. Becky was flexible with our checkin and also provided a baby cot, linens and highchair for our baby.

Absolutely beautiful home. It was very clean and comfortable. Our two little kids loved playing outside in the cubby and boat, and there were lots of toys and games to keep them occupied. Table tennis table was great for the grown ups! Kitchen was spacious and well stocked, bathrooms very clean, and lots of space to spread out. It was lovely to sit out on the deck and watch the roos and wallabies come out in the mornings and evenings. The only downside we found to this lovely house was that the bedrooms got quite hot in the afternoons and the a/c doesn’t reach that far to cool them down (it mainly does the living spaces and the master bedroom). Only an issue for us because the kids needed to have afternoon naps in there. Opening the windows in the evenings helped cool things down for the night. Thank you Tamara for having us.
