I stayed here with a group of friends last week. It was a wonderful experience and a gorgeous, art-filled house. We knew it would be 20 minutes outside of Oaxaca, so we planned our out-of-town activities on these days. We split our week in Oaxaca between this house and a hotel in the historical center and it was perfect. I'm an interior designer and loved all the beautiful details, from the carved wood stair banister to the hand painted tiles, textiles, antiques, art, ceramics and more. Lila's home is a special place and made our trip very memorable.

Dies ist eine absolut tolle Unterkunft. Sie ist noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Nicht weit weg aber fern ab vom Trubel der Stadt, findet sich hier eine gemütliche grüne Oase, mit allem was man braucht. Wir waren hanz beeindruckt und hatten eine tolle Zeit.

Fue exactamente igual a las fotos, estaba impresionante. El lugar fue divertido cómodo amplio, tenía detalles como la calidad del jabón y todo equipado para la estancia, muy divertido y la anfitriona siempre estuvo pendiente resolviendo mis preguntas

The view was incredible. We saw multiple sightings of whales daily with our binoculars. The night sky was lovely every night. Mosquitos/ bugs were almost non existent. The contemporary architecture and furnishings are beautiful. The two cushioned lounge chairs were very comfortable for relaxing as well as the hammock. The umbrella was of good quality and very necessary. The pool was refreshing and the water was clear and well filtered. The only thing which was a slight negative was the pool of the building next door often had children being loud. And at night from about 10 pm until 3 am, the music from bars in distance were loud (however we figured it is all part of the experience of being in another country). Hosts were very responsive. There is an electricity limit and exceeding means an extra charge. We stayed below the limit quite easily as we didn’t need the a/c. We’ll be back next year as we have for many years.

Estancia agradable y acogedora, casa muy bonita y un plus que tenga alberca. Muy recomendable para ir en familia, volveríamos a regresar. Graaaaaacias 🙏

We had an amazing stay! The place was spotless and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and relaxed. From the well-equipped amenities to the thoughtful touches, it truly felt like a home away from home. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. We chose to cook ourselves rather than eat out. Our place had a full kitchen so we stocked up on food. We did try a couple of restaurants to support local but they were just ok. The location was absolutely perfect—better than we even expected! The view was better than the pics posted too. IF you rent a car, just know that the location is bumpy and steep. If not, you can rent a taxi. Our only problem was the cost for the taxi was twice as much when they called someone for you and different every time. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend staying here. Can’t wait to come back!

Ana Paula was such an amazing host! this space was perfect for our group of 12. the kitchen had everything we needed and more. We especially enjoyed the propane bbq. the property was even more amazing than the pictures suggested. highly recommended!

If you want to be transported 300 years ago and live the high life of old days - THIS is the place to book. It's old. It's elegant. It's exquisite. And very private - you get the beautiful house all to yourself! A truly colonial way of living with modern day amenities added for comfort. And as if this were not enough - you find a well stocked refrigerator (eggs, beer, wine, juice, milk), phenomenal Oaxacan coffee, small snacks, cereal, fully equipped kitchen and wood-fired grill... You cannot ask for more... We highly recommend Becky's place. We would like to return.

Great place. Had a little hick-up with check in as the electricity wasn’t working at first location but Jude and her team were very accommodating and made sure we were taken to their other location which was fine. Steep way to get up to the house so make sure you are able to make it up there as no cars can drive on that driveway walkway. Jude’s great !

Private, clean and well looked after. Don’t expect a lot of amenities in area if that’s what you are looking for. Small village with only the basics and few places to eat which may or may not be open. Plan to be self reliant or willing to travel to dine out. Beautiful area.

Trust the reviews on this one… Antonio’s place is amazing! The house is expansive, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need. I don’t think I have ever felt so welcomed at an Airbnb with fruit and drinks and a friendly and responsive host. The location is perfect for access to Oaxaca’s restaurants and shops, as well as Hierve el Agua and Mitla and Teotitlàn del Valle. History, culture, natural wonders, sophisticated cuisine are all at your fingertips. That is, if you can put your mezcal down and bring yourself to leave the poolside chairs!

La casa es hermosa, muy amplia y cómoda, el lugar es muy tranquilo y seguro, caminando se puede llegar a la playa, incluso realizamos una caminata a la playa de noche y fue bastante seguro el paseo. La cocina cuenta con todos los utensilios para cocinar, tienen pensado hasta en el mas mínimo detalle para poder hacerte sentir como en casa. La alberca esta climatizada y el asador con su terraza en la parte exterior le da un toque perfecto para una velada estupenda. Las recamaras son amplias y las camas muy cómodas lo que hace que descanses muy bien después de un día de paseo y sol, los baños son bastante espaciosos, la casa cuenta con una ventilación adecuada. La atención de Maritza fue excelente, siempre estuvo pendiente de todo en todo momento, incluso nos apoyó con el envío de una prenda que dejamos olvidada. Definitivamente recomiendo el alojamiento y sin duda regresaré en otro momento.

Loved staying at this cozy little bungalow. So close to the beach and a very easy walk at night. Felt right at home with a well stocked kitchen for any cooking needs. Was wonderful stay and am already looking forward to my next visit. Loved having the company of the cat, Leve and the sound of the waves at night! Thanks Beth, Vicki and Oliver!

We loved staying at this property. Things we loved: -Home was spacious and well-equipped. -Strong wifi -There was a coffee maker (not Nespresso as was listed). -Proximity to the beach and restaurants, but far enough away not to hear any traffic or music from bars. -Plenty of bottled water. Things to note: -There are a LOT of stairs. It's a hike up hill, but the views and quietness of this property makes it very worthwhile. -Playa Del Amor is a short 10 minute walk away. The main shopping area is about a 30 minute walk. We had a great stay and would certainly consider staying here again. Thank you Gerardo and Miguel.

Casa Polo is an incredible place to stay in Puerto Escondido. It has everything you need—great location, clean and spacious rooms, a fantastic pool, and breathtaking views. Alexander is amazing, always available to help or share recommendations. Truly a hidden gem!

Disfrutamos mucho la estadía en la casa, es cómoda, muy bien hubicada y cerca de zonas de interés y restaurantes. Emiliano y su equipo siempre estuvieron al pendiente de lo que se requería. Sin duda volveremos a reservar para próximas visitas.

We had the most wonderful 9 days at La Marianas 3, this is a magical house and you will not want to leave. Everything was very smooth and Ana was able to get us whatever we needed at any time, massages, horseback rides, food we needed. The cooks were amazing and the house was always clean. Everyone was so friendly and we felt very safe! We cannot wait to come back!

La casa es exactamente como las fotos, tienes todas las amenidades para estar cómodos y pasar tiempo en familia, es un lugar super seguro y tranquilo. el camino de terracería está bastante decente al menos ahorita en Abril, Ginny y Ali, siempre pendientes antes y durante nuestra estancia. Si les recomiendo que pasen por víveres antes de llegar, porque lo más cercano es un Oxxo a 15 minutos de la casa.

un lugar para descansar después de andar paseando por la cd Oaxaca y sus alrededores, como en todo sus pequeños detalles sin pronlemas mayores, anfitrión muy atento y la casa es es acogedora

La casa está hermosa, muy amplia y moderna, la alberca está deliciosa, todo muy limpio y ordenado; no le hacen justicia las fotos que están publicadas. Diana siempre estuvo al pendiente de nosotros, incluso antes y después de nuestra llegada. Nos sentimos como en casa, sin duda volveremos a regresar. Gracias por todo!!

Casana is a beautiful space and makes a great home base for exploring Oaxaca. Mariana and her staff are very communicative and available. We loved having the pool and the beautiful natural fountain onsite. There was plenty of room for our group of 7 (4 adults, 3 kids) to spread out and enjoy our downtime here!

Excelente ubicación, la casa muy bonita y todo muy cómodo. Rafael muy atento, muchas gracias. Un pequeño tema es la hora de recepción es muy tarde a las 4 pm y la salida antes de las 11, aunque sea recomiendo que tengan horario tipo hotelero.
