Schönes Apartement und ein sehr guter Standort für Aktivitäten. Wir haben und wohl gefühlt und hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt.

Love "The hub." Would definitely stay there again. Close to the beach. Unique features. Hobbit-esque, I would say.

Stayed with my adult kids and grand baby. We had an absolutely amazing stay at David’s accommodation! The home was set out well to suit all of our needs and had recently been updated. Access to the kayaks was an excellent way to enjoy the ocean and have fun together. Such a beautiful location central to heaps of local sites of interest, not to mention the gateway to Abel Tasman National Park. Good comms from host - very easy to book and access. Would highly recommend and would definitely return, if in the area! Thanks again David.

Loved Ruth's place and really found an appreciation for the art. Awesome location nice and central to town and bars and restaurants close by with beautiful views and all the homely things you could need. Place was also really cosy and homely

This is a great place to stay on the west side of Golden Bay. The beach in front of the place is expansive in both directions and Stella, their dog, is an extra bonus as a companion! You are also about equally distanced between Takaka and the spit. Book more than one night so you can experience more than one site on this side of Takaka Hill.

We have had the most amazing stay! The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos! View to die for from the enormous balcony, super comfortable beds, high end appliances & friendly accommodating hosts… we don’t want to leave!

We found the Clifftop Retreat cabin suited our needs perfectly and Bob provided an excellent level of communication, service and local tips. He also ensured the pantry and wines were stocked with high quality local products. The accomodation was very good with comfortable bed, terrific functional kitchen and amazing clifftop views of the surrounding bay and local area. The location was perfect for our walking trips up into the Abel Tasman National Park and also fantastic local restaurants and wineries. Bob also organised a pick up from the airport for us as we arrived late at night. Overall a fantastic stay and would certainly recommend Clifftop Retreats very highly.

A wonderfully unique property in a beautiful location. We had a brilliant stay with our family at this homely and picturesque spot. There were great places to eat and drink within walking distance too. We would love to return one day!

This place was absolutely in the most wonderful setting and walking down the stairs to the expansive sea views was very special. The home is architecturally designed and has a lovely feel to it. What a treat to sit on the deck take in the views of the start of the Abel Tasman national park, then take a dip in the infinity pool and jump into the spa was magical. The pool and spa were very clean. Kitchen had everything needed to make food prep a breeze. Top end appliances make living easy in this stunning home.

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

Beautiful place and location, and Sally and Wayne are very welcoming. A cute little village with great restaurants and ice cream is just a short walk down the beach. I highly recommend this spot for anyone, but especially for people interested in sitting on the deck soaking up the gorgeous scenery !

Karryn's place was great. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The views to the ocean were great. Everything was clean. It was an easy 15 minute walk into the centre of town. The parking space was easy to use and there were even push bikes available if you wanted to venture a little further afield. I would have no hesitation staying at this place again

This place is absolute Magic - a quintessential kiwi bach with lots of history, space for all and a beautiful setting ! We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay with our three small children - playing in the sinking sand, digging for cockles and exploring the surrounds. The house was extremely well equipped and we greatly appreciated the toys, puzzles and board games on offer. We would love to come back

We were celebrating my father's 89th birthday with a small road trip around the top of the South Island, Jenny's home was the perfect place for us to do this. From the moment we booked Jenny provided us with quick replies to questions about things to do and see, her communication was fantastic. We liked the house, location, views and the host so much we extended our stay for an extra few days. We were very pleased to find a coffee machine in the kitchen and some really tasty local coffee blends to try out at the start of each day. We loved sitting on the deck in the late afternoon sun, taking in the spectacular views over the ocean and Kaiteriteri beach, this was a daily delight. Wir hatten auf unserer Reise durch ganz Neuseeland einige Unterkünfte - die von Tim und Michelle gehört zu den allerbesten. Die Unterkunft ist Tip Top in Ordnung, man hat alles was man braucht (und noch viel mehr): von der Küchenausstattung, den Spielen, den outdoorrmöglichkeiten (freie Fahrräder und Kajaks) sowie der persönlichen Beratung zu möglichen Aktivitäten in der Gegend. Trust us! Even more fabulous than the photos! We had an idyllic week in Rachel’s cottage - views, location, furniture and furnishings, decks, kayaks, outdoor shower … everything was first-class. Great instruction booklet for the kayaks and accessories and solid information about the workings of this unique waterfront home. If we can get back to NZ in a couple years, finding 2 weeks to book here is a must do. Our first visit to the Golden Bay area and we loved it. Ligar Bay is at the quiet (slow?) end of Abel Tasman National Park but it is a gorgeous spot with easy access to the Abel Tasman track, shops in Takaka and the Farewell Spit tour bus in Collingwood. Good roads and light traffic in late March. Tata Beach is a short walk from the cottage.

In short, one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at (and we have been to quite a few). My partner and I spend 2 weeks in the Best Island Bus and had the most amazing time. We honestly barely left the property because we enjoyed it so much! The location is beautiful and so calming - your stress is immediately gone as you hang in the hammock and watch the birds in the trees. It was the best place to disconnect and rest. The bus is fully equipped and so well done - has everything you could want! Simon and Clare are so friendly, welcoming and helpful. You can tell how much love and thought they have put into this place and they go above and beyond for their guests. Would recommend this to everyone! We would come back in a heartbeat and were sad to leave.

Great place to stay. We were a group of 9 and we all had plenty of space. The location is a short walk to a Four Square and the Māpua wharf where there are plenty of eateries to choose from and lovely artisan and gift stores. Jane was a great host who communicated well and provided local recommendations. Would happily stay here again.

Jacque's place is in an amazing location. You have a beautiful unobstructed view all day long. the Bach includes all the necessary amenities and then some. We used the paddle board and kayak every morning at high tied to explore the water, rusted ship and sand spit!
