We cooked very healthy and fresh steamed food that is called Siddu. It is just a kind of bread made from wheat flour. To make siddu you need to do is make a mixture of wheat and yeast. After kneaded wheat with yeast allow the dough to raise at least for 4 to 5 hours or wait until it rises well. Always keep in mind that siddu cannot me made just in minutes. It needs a couple of hours as siddu is dough yeast based. Now, i am going to tell you how siddu is served to people in Himachal. Normally, it is eaten or served with Desi Ghee “Clarified Butter”, Dal (Mainly Lentil Broth) or with Green Chutney (made from mint ‘Pudina’). It might not be looking good in the picture above, but trust me it’s really goona charge up your taste buds.

We are here to help get the best of Indian street food! On the food tour, we'll make our way through eight of the city's best stands of street food, exploring the town at the same time. Our tour will bring you to secret food havens nestled throughout this beautiful town and along the way you'll learn about the history of it, from a true insider. So join other enthusiasts, and fill your stomach with delicious dishes, and our mind with fun history, rich culture, and story insights of the neighborhood we visit. We will convene in the verandah of the main house @ HEAL FARM and make our way after a relaxed interaction, a show and tell on how sound impacts our being, towards the Sonorium where we will experience how sound healing works in person, the sound bath will last an hour. We shall have an opportunity to enjoy a hearty meal after the sound bath, so come hungry as being empty stomach surely enhances the experience of the sound bath. We are located on a ridge adjoining the Sattal reserve forest, (distt Nainital) overlooking the Sattal lake, which can be approached via a slip road (Naini bend) leading down from small town called Bhowali into Village Tirchakhet.
