The nicely equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances and may well bring out the gourmet chef in you. A large island invites the family to share breakfast and new memories. This space also has its own A/C unit, fun corner bench seating, French doors and beautiful sunset views.

Dedicated WiFi is provided both at the home and on the beach, within proximity of the main beach house.
An outdoor shower stands amid the new garden. The landscape is dotted with flowering bushes, coconut palms, mango, banana, papaya and almond trees and when mature will offer fresh fruit for your enjoyment. Papayas are already available and incredibly delicious! The décor is beach bo-hamian, designed for comfort and smiles.

Kiwi House has an identical sister property next door, Tui House. Perfect for large groups!
Bottled water is recommended for drinking.

A NOTE ABOUT ISLAND LIFE
Island life can be challenging at times. The island often experiences power outages and water supply interruptions. Kiwi and Tui Houses are designed to circumvent these outages with a hybrid system of solar power/city electric and cisterns for water supply.
However, there are times when water and/or power goes out for an hour or more. When the city power goes out, the Internet is not available. When cisterns run dry and we have to rely on getting city water, sometimes the water is unavailable due to scheduled city maintenance or water main breaks. We try our best to accommodate guests if/when this happens. The main beach house, the "Down Under" has very large cisterns and guests may take advantage of the water supply at the main house.
Sometimes problems arise and we have to rely on vendors to fix problems. Please understand that things do not happen immediately on an island (no Home Depot here!) We do our very best to accommodate our guests and speedily fix anything that comes up.
Island life includes bugs and other creatures. There are lizards who enjoy living in the house/rafters. It's part of living here. Sometimes during the year, caterpillars join our living spaces. We do our best to remove them but we do not spray pesticides or other poisons in our homes. Mosquitos and no-see-ums come out at dawn and again at dusk; wear long sleeves and long pants during these hours and use bug spray.
